They turned to Miller and he responded by breaking tackles on his way to a 40 yard score. 28-21 was all the closer that Manor would get. The Trojan defense made key stops on each Manor drive to preserve the lead. The 4th quarter continued the defensive showdown of the second half until time was winding down late in the quarter. With time running down, LB Nathaniel Velez took a mishandled snap 76 yards to the house giving Anderson a 35-21 cushion. The defense held strong again and the offense looked to make their mark on the second half. A 50 yard run by Riley McCarty set up his own 5 yard TD run and punctuated a 42-21 point win for the Trojans.

The win puts the Trojans at 2-4 overall and 1-0 in district play. The Trojans will host the Akins Eagles Friday night at House Park in Anderson’s homecoming game.
