L C Anderson High School
ANDERSON HIGH SCHOOL—- The Anderson Trojans end the season on a strong note, defeating the Bowie Bulldogs 56-51.
The prevailing theme in the game was playing as a cohesive team for 32 minutes. Despite only scoring 6 first quarter points, the Trojan defense held Bowie to 7. Then the offense fed off the defensive intensity. The Trojans proceeded to score 50 points in the following 3 quarters including 19 in the second and 18 in the third. Guys were sharing the basketball, the bench was going crazy, and everyone was playing for each other. 8 of the 13 Trojans players scored. Logan McCormick led the way with 19 points. Anderson also led the way in bench scoring with a 19-5 edge. The players from this Trojans team will look to build upon their momentum from this game as they prepare for their next season.
With the win, the Trojans close district play at 9-7. The game ends a great season for the Anderson Trojans JV.
