Girls Soccer Coaching Staff

Varsity Head Coach – Aaron Strawser

Coach Strawser grew up in Beaumont, Texas where she attended West Brook High School. She was a part of the Bruin’s varsity soccer team for 4 years, holding the District’s Newcomer of the Year award as a Freshman and the District’s Most Valuable Player for 3 years. During this time, she also traveled to play club soccer for the Albion Hurricanes in Houston, Texas.

Strawser went on to play soccer at the collegiate level at the University of Texas where she was a four year Letterman and voted Team Captain.  After graduating from UT with a BS degree in Biochemistry, Coach Strawser began teaching pre-AP chemistry at Anderson and became the girls head soccer coach in 2016. The Trojans finished the 2016-2017 season with an undefeated District Championship and an overall season record of 17-3-1. Coach Strawser looks forward to her second year with the girls soccer team and has plans for more success. Coach Strawser will be married in January 2018.

JV Coach – Alyssa Studer

Coach Studer is in her second year at Anderson High School, coaching women’s soccer and cross country. When not coaching, she is teaching chemistry and environmental systems.

Prior to teaching and coaching at Anderson High School, Coach Studer taught chemistry and coached women’s soccer at North Side High School in Fort Worth for two years. 

She is originally from Wisconsin, where she attended University of Wisconsin-Madison, majored in Botany and Environmental Science and co-founded/was the captain of the Women’s Club Soccer team there for three years. In her free time, Coach Studer enjoys playing soccer, hiking with her fiance Toli/dog Mosley, and watching Badger basketball and the Green Bay Packers.
